Kosocicka Ambient is an intimate estate of 24 semi-detached single-family buildings, designed to harmoniously integrate with the existing landscape. The buildings are arranged in an irregular layout, creating a natural spatial structure that enhances residents’ sense of privacy and comfort. Instead of a single axial view, a system of short perspectives has been designed, where the architecture gradually reveals successive fragments of greenery.
Each building houses two two-story apartments with a usable area of approximately 100 m². The buildings come in three basic types, differing in their garden layout and additional outdoor spaces. All apartments have access to a private garden, and selected apartments also have terraces on the first floor.
Carefully designed apartment layouts ensure high comfort and flexibility of arrangement. Living areas are located on the ground floors and open to the gardens via large, sliding glazing, reaching almost from floor to ceiling. Horizontal, panoramic windows are used on the upper floors, and some apartments feature additional terraces, forming a natural extension of the living space.
The development's design assumes maximum preservation of existing greenery, complemented by new plantings, terraces, and green roofs. Each unit will be equipped with an individual heat pump, underfloor heating, and mechanical ventilation with heat recovery. Preparation for a photovoltaic installation and a rainwater collection system for watering the gardens are also planned.
